The Kogi state Governor, Yahaya Bello says he will not accept the demands from chieftains of APC in his avowal, asking him to relinquish more than his double voters registration.
Last week, some APC chieftains in the statement led by Senator Dino Melaye, held a press conference where they called on the order of the subject of him to step down from anew his double voters registration or slant impeachment by the lawmakers at the confess House of Assembly.
INEC last week issued a publication accusing Yahaya of committing an illegality by play his voters registration twice. In a publication released by his Director-General concerning Media and Publicity, Kingsley Fanwon today, Yahaya said those demanding for his resignation are diplomatic jokers.
According to Yahaya, the matter of his double registration during the exercise is brute overblown by his opponents to score cheap goals. He said he welcomes INEC's decision to withdraw the latter registration. He noted that the Kogi State House of Assembly will not be blackmailed into reversing the gains of democracy in the manage to pay for in.
