The Standard Organization Of Nigeria (SON) Uncovers N8Billion Worth Of Cloned Cables In Lagos

The Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) has outdoor again N8billion worth of cloned cables at two residential buildings in the Ajangbadi place of Lagos.

Its enforcement team outdoor the warehouses, where 20 every second brands of cloned cables were kept.

Made-in-Nigeria cables and totaling brands to the fore NOCAN, Surecan, Necaco, Kablemex, Purecan and Nigertin, along also others, were cloned in China.

SON Director, Inspectorate and Compliance, Bede Obayi, conducted reporters round the group projects as regards behalf of agencys Director-General, Osita Aboloma. He said the items belonged to Estobest Electrical Limited.

Aboloma said the resolutions officials and others implicated in the illegal unity would be made to twist the wrath of the con.

He said the company targeted and cloned Nigerian cables already qualified by the SON, in deceptive packages.

He bonus that more of such firms would be uncovered.
